Harmony Grove Cardinals weathered a push by Ouachita in the fifth inning where Harmony Grove Cardinals coughed up three runs, but Harmony Grove Cardinals still won 10-4 on Friday. The big inning for Ouachita came thanks to a triple by John Fowler, a single by Greyson Huneycutt, and an error on a ball put in play by Will Hixon.
Harmony Grove Cardinals opened up scoring in the second inning. Elijah King drew a walk, scoring one run.
Harmony Grove Cardinals pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Conner Burrow singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run, Hayden Hilson grounded out, scoring one run, and Ethan Wetzel singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Harmony Grove Cardinals tallied four runs in the sixth inning. Harmony Grove Cardinals put the pressure on, lead by singles by Hilson and Christian Young and a double by Chase Chilton.
