Harmony Grove blew out Paris 8-1 on Friday.
The Lady Cardinals put up four runs in the fifth inning. The offense in the inning came from singles by Kinsey Bryant and Kylie Moore, a sacrifice fly by Rachel Kesterson, and a double by Mackenzie Morrow.
Grace Bryant earned the victory in the pitcher’s circle for Harmony Grove. She allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven. Baylee Rowton threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Jadyn Hart took the loss for Paris. She surrendered seven runs on eight hits over four and a third innings, striking out five.
Harmony Grove totaled nine hits in the game. Brooke Roush and Bryant all managed multiple hits for the Lady Cardinals. Bryant and Roush each collected two hits to lead the team.
Morgan Johnson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Paris in hits.
