Harmony Grove ran off with the lead late in the game in a 13-3 victory over Glen Rose on Saturday. The Lady Cardinals trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Abbi Davis singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Harmony Grove was boosted by Baylee Rowton who went 4-for-4 at the plate. Rowton singled in the first, doubled in the third, homered in the fourth, and doubled in the fifth.

The Lady Cardinals fired up the offense in the first inning. Leighton Withers drove in two when she doubled.

Grace Bryant got the win for Harmony Grove. She allowed four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out six. Schneider took the loss for Glen Rose. She allowed 14 hits and 13 runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

The Lady Cardinals smacked two home runs on the day. Rowton went for the long ball in the fourth inning. Bryant put one out in the fourth inning.

Harmony Grove collected 14 hits on the day. Rowton, Bryant, Mackenzie Morrow, Rachel Kesterson, and Withers each had multiple hits for the Lady Cardinals. Rowton went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the team in hits.

The Lady Cardinals didn’t commit a single error in the field. Morrow had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

Glen Rose didn’t commit a single error in the field. Jackson had the most chances in the field with five.
