The Lady Wildcats jumped out to an early lead over the Lady Cardinals.  Outscoring them 15-2 in the first quarter.  Harmony Grove fought back in the second quarter closing the lead to 11 points before the half.  In the 3rd quarter the Lady Cards would cut into the lead by outscoring the Lady Wildcats 9-8,

Downtown Tip Off Club recognizes Wilks

Yesterday, in North Little Rock the Downtown Tip Off Club recognized Drake Wilks as the Arvest Player of the Week.  The award is given each week to the state’s top girls and boys basketball player in any classification.  Last week Wilks helped guide the Cardinals to the Ouachita Holiday Tournament Championship. 3A State Cheerleading Runner-Up

The Harmony Grove High School cheerleaders competed in the AAA State Cheerleading Championship on December 20, 2014 at Summit Arena in Hot Springs.  The squad was named Runner Up in the 3A All-Girl Division for the state of Arkansas!  Receiving the Runner Up trophy was the high point of a great season for this squad. On December 6, 2014, the Harmony Grove High School cheerleaders participated in the B2 Cheer and Dance Tiger City Classic at Ouachita Baptist University.  The squad placed first in the 3A All Girl Division, and was also awarded the Top Stunts award, the Best Choreography award, and the Grand Champion Banner in the 1-3A Senior

HG takes on Mayflower in conference home opener

The senior boys opened up an early 19-13 lead at the end of the 1st quarter with the help from Drake Wilks 8 points.  Mayflower would answer in the 2nd, outscoring the Cardinals 20-12 and taking a 33-31 lead at the half.   Chuck McCormick got hot behind the 3 point arch in the 3rd

Football Highlights on sale now

The 2014 football season highlights DVD are on sale now.  There is a junior high and senior high season highlight.  The highlight includes offensive, defensive, and special team highlights set to music with visual effects. Both will be sold for $20 apiece.  All proceeds will go to purchase a weight room record board (see below)

Johnson receives All-State honors

Jon Johnson receives All-State honors from the 5-AAA coaches.  Johnson, a 6’1″ 195 lbs junior, becomes the first Harmony Grove football player to receive this prestigious award.  He ran for 1,916 yards on 194 carries and 20 touchdowns, which lead the state during the regular season.  He averaged 191.6 yards a game, and 9.9 yards

Football earns post-season honors

Harmony Grove is coming off its best record of 7-4, with this mark ten players received 5-AAA All-Conference honors. The award was voted on by the 5-AAA coaches.  Others receiving votes and All-Conference Honorable Mention were Cody Roush, Rocky Ramsey, and Dillon Hager.
