Boys Varsity Baseball · Bismarck falls 8-2 at the hands of the Cardinals

The Harmony Grove Cardinals beat Bismarck on Monday 8-2 at Bismarck in seven innings.

Logan Clay racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Cardinals . He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

The Cardinals got the win thanks in large part to Tyler Hamilton’s dominant, seven-strikeout performance. Hamilton allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks over 6 innings.

The Harmony Grove Cardinals went up for good in the third, scoring four runs on a grand slam by Logan Clay.

After posting two runs in the fourth, the Harmony Grove Cardinals again scored two in the sixth. In the fourth, the Harmony Grove Cardinals scored on an RBI single by Brinson Cornwell, scoring Sam Harrison.

Cornwell’s single got things going, plating Alec Shilling.

The Cardinals move to 12-1 on the season and 4-1 in conference.  The Cardinals take on Jessieville in their last conference game of the season tonight in Jessieville at 4:30.
